Maria Höck, geboren 1991 in Zell am See (Österreich), ist freie Kinderbuchlektorin, Autorin und Übersetzerin. Sie machte eine Ausbildung zur Buchhändlerin und studierte Buchwissenschaft in München sowie Digital Publishing in Oxford. Nach Stationen als Verlagslektorin und Produktmanagerin machte sie sich mit ihrem Textstudio selbstständig. Sie lebt mit ihrer Familie in München.Sypha Vendez is a children's illustrator based in bustling Barcelona, where she lives with her partner and two dogs, Lola and Coco. After studying first Fine Art and then Illustration at university, she decided to fully commit herself to illustrating for children's books and media. Sypha spent her first years growing up by the beautiful clear waters of the Spanish coast before moving to Barcelona to study and make a home for herself. She loves traveling to new and exciting places. Sypha keeps a huge wall of various knickknacks she discovers on her journeys, her favorite being a bright, neon Venus de Millo from Paris.
