Unter den Bedingungen des diakonisch-sozialen Lernens wird das Lernen an Biographien diskutiert. Über die Auseinandersetzung mit der Diakoniegeschichte sowie mit Menschen, die in Geschichte und Gegenwart diakonisch handelten, wird das Ziel diakonisch-sozialen Ler-nens erreicht, dass junge Menschen einen Zugang zur diakonisch tätigen Gemeinschaft erhal-ten. Es werden mit der historischen Biographik die theoretischen Grundlagen für das Lernen an Biographien erarbeitet und umgesetzt durch die historisch-kritische Rekonstruktion der Bi-ographien Elisabeths von Thüringen, Florence Nightingales und Mutter Teresas. Dabei wer-den die Rezeptionsgeschichte hinterfragt und Stereotype, die mit den Biographien verbunden sind, aufgedeckt. Daraus werden jeweils Impulse für die didaktische Umsetzung der drei Bio-graphien als Thema im diakonisch-sozialen Lernen formuliert. Auf dieser Grundlage werden Schlussfolgerungen für die Didaktik diakonisch-sozialen Lernens gezogen.

[Christian Social Learning with Biographies. Elisabeth von Thüringen, Florence Nightingale und Mother Teresa]
The current study explores the possibility of learning from biographies under the conditions of Christian social learning. The biographies of Elisabeth von Thüringen, Florence Nightin-gale and Mother Teresa are reconstructed with the help of historical-critical biography. By that, the history of reception is scrutinized and stereotypes related to the biographies are re-vealed. According to these findings, didactic realizations of each of the three biographies are presented as a topic of Christian social learning. Consequently, conclusions for the didactics of Christian social learning are drawn.
