Eine der weit verbreiteten Annahmen besteht darin, dass der Protestantismus eine besondere Affinität zur Bildung besitzt. Jahrhundert auf Wissenschaft und Bildung sowie auf Universität und Schule genommen hat: Welche relevanten Handlungsmuster und Diskurse hat er geformt und wie hat er auf Veränderungen in Wissenschaft und Bildung reflektiert und wie auf sie reagiert?Die Antworten fallen zwiespältig aus.
