Description

The book proposes a Model of Excellence for expert Brazilian aerobic gymnastics coaches, based on the cognitive approach accessed through Ericsson and Simon's Protocol Analysis. The coaches' reasoning structure is presented by converting their verbal reports, referring to the analysis of a specific task in the sport, into data that is organised and presented in the form of a Cognitive Map. Professor and Head of the Department of Physical Education at UFLA. Master's degree in Physical Education (EEFFTO/UFMG) and PhD in Administration (PPGA/UFLA). He has experience in the field of Physical Education, working mainly in the following areas: training, sports psychology and sports management. Coach of Brazilian Aerobic Gymnastics Teams since 2003.
