Network Now B1.1 sichert die Kenntnisse der Stufe A2, begleitet die Lernenden beim Übergang zu B1 und baut die sprachlichen Fähigkeiten solide und kommunikativ aus. Hello, I am Vanessa Clark. After a degree in modern languages and my postgraduate studies in education in the UK, I ran away to Munich 'for one year' and stayed for eight years as an English teacher and later as a Director of Studies. My classroom experience with adult learners in Germany and my teacher training role there is what I've found most useful in writing Refresh Now, Network Now and English Compass, as good coursebooks must be designed with both learners and teachers in mind. I now teach EFL back home in the UK and keep my connection with Germany through my work for Ernst Klett Sprachen. Hello. I am Lynda Hübner - but don't be taken in by the umlaut - I married it! I am English, though I've lived in Munich for ... goodness me! - nearly forty years! And I have spent a lot of that time teaching English and writing EFL books for the Network Now and Refresh Now series. As a result, I have very little spare time - but I have managed to have a couple of kids and a couple of cats. Hello! I am Olivia Rainsford. I am a teacher, teacher trainer and writer based in Bavaria, but originally from Ireland. I arrived in Germany fifteen years ago, intending to stay for a year. I am still here. I never wanted to become a teacher, but somehow I ended up doing a Masters of Education, I teach full-time and now I am even involved in training other teachers. I live in a ramshackle house in a university town and spend my days doing all manner of crafty things. Hello, I am Dagmar Taylor. I've been teaching English as a foreign language in Germany for over twenty years. After twenty, I decided to stop counting! My name looks German, but I'm actually from Scotland. After completing my Masters in German Studies, I moved to Bavaria and started teaching English. I wrote the 'English worldwide' and 'English at work' pages for three books in the Network Now series. I also write and edit for an English language magazine. I love writing teaching materials because I can put both my classroom experience and my creativity to good use. When I'm not writing or teaching, I enjoy baking or spending time outdoors with my two children and our dog.
