Description
This monograph examines how industrial phosphorus and coal-mining residues can be converted into slow-release organomineral fertilizers for greenhouse cultivation. Focusing on waste streams from southern Kazakhstan, it connects raw-material characterization, humic acid extraction, phosphate decomposition, polymer encapsulation, process design, and agronomic evaluation. SEM-EDX, FTIR, XRD, thermal analysis, and kinetic modeling are used to establish process conditions and characterize the fertilizer. The book also presents a technological scheme, a production-cost estimate, greenhouse trials with tomato and cucumber, and pilot-scale testing. By linking fertilizer technology with waste valorization and agrochemistry, it provides a framework for developing resource-efficient fertilizer systems. It is intended for researchers and engineers in chemical technology, fertilizer science, soil science, and environmental engineering.
