Der Band umfasst die spätantiken Inschriften des 4.-6.Jh. n.Chr. aus Korinth und Umgebung, vor allem Grabinschriften, aber auch kaiserliche Reskripte, Weihungen und Invokationen, insgesamt etwa 600 Texte. Die große Zahl der Inschriften belegt eindrucksvoll die führende Stellung Korinths auf der Peloponnes in frühchristlicher Zeit. Aufschlußreich ist der Vergleich des 'epigraphic habits' der korinthischen mit den attischen Inschriften, die derselbe Autor im Jahre 2008 in den Inscriptiones Graecae publiziert hat (IG II/III² 5). Der neue Band enthält neben den kommentierten Texten (darunter 117 inedita) ausführliche Indices und Abbildungen aller noch vorhandenen Inschriften.

This volume includes inscriptions from late antiquity (4th-6th centuries CE) from Corinth and its surroundings, primarily epitaphs, but also imperial edicts, dedications, and invocations. The number of inscriptions testifies to Corinth's leading status on the Peloponnesus during this period. Besides the texts with commentary (around 117 never published before), the volume includes detailed indexes and illustrations of all preserved inscriptions.
