Description
Editorial studies: a fundamental intermedial discipline for all subjects which require media of various kinds to be reliably processed and made available. Besides well-founded knowledge of their subjects, editors need knowledge and skills in the theory and practice of editorship. To date, however, there has been an absence of general guidelines which can be applied to all subjects. The present textbook develops these guidelines in order to provide a unified basis for editorial studies.
