基本説明
Phraseology includes the whole area of more or less "fixed" combinations of words on up to formulaic sentences and texts. While systematic research on phraseology goes back to the beginning of the 20th century, broad-based international research only began to develop in the 70's, but all the more rapidly since. The Handbook offers a systematic outline and overview of the available results of this research.
Full Description

The Handbook offers a critical view of research on the linguistic properties and uses of formulaicity in various types of discourse as well as in numerous languages, considering research results from the cultural sciences, language psychology, computational linguistics and corpus linguistics.
