Professor Dr. Davide Chiumello is the Head of Department at the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, ASST Santi Paolo e Carlo, San Paolo University Hospital in Milan, Italy. His skills and expertise include lung, respiratory mechanics, mechanical ventilation, ARDS, acute lung injury, lung diseases, ventilation, and respiratory physiology. He is the author of more than 400 publications on international journals with a very high number of citations.
Andrea De Gasperi, Doctor of Medicine, is the former Head at Azienda Ospedaliera Niguarda Ca' Granda in Milan, Italy. He is member of several international scientific Societies and author of scientific publications on international journals. His main areas of interest are Anesthesia / CCM; Major General and Vascular Surgery; Abdominal Organ Transplantation; and Perioperative CCM (Ventilation / Hemodynamics / Infections) Infections in the ICU.
