Description

This book offers a comprehensive exploration of the evolving landscape of sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and circular economy models within the European context. It sheds new light on how regulatory frameworks and business practices are converging to redefine sustainable development. Through this volume, readers will gain insights into the strategic integration of sustainability principles into corporate governance and value chains.

Key concepts such as the evolution of international and European sustainability policies, the role of businesses in promoting sustainable development, and the tools for measuring and communicating sustainability performance are thoroughly examined. The book addresses critical questions, including how CSR can transition from a voluntary practice to a strategic driver of sustainable development, and how the circular economy redefines business competitiveness. With contributions from eminent scholars, this work provides a multi-level analysis that bridges regulatory and managerial perspectives.
