Unfulfilled is a collection of intimate portraits by photographer Domino Leaha. Spanning just over a decade,
from 2013 - 2024, the body of work within Unfulfilled, paired with writings and poems by the photographer's
subjects and other collaborators, gives an account of the private lives of the artists, actors, models and musicians
that are among Domino's closest friends, muses and lovers. The portraits contained within Unfulfilled are deeply
sensual; in their raw intensity, they capture the subjects' vulnerabilities as well as their spirit. Yet, through
Domino's mastery of and unique sensibility towards color, light and shadow, her photographs present to the
viewer as not just portraits, but emotional, visceral landscapes in which subdued feelings emerge, perhaps
feelings of longing, desperation and emptiness, or other feelings of unfulfillment, for, in choosing her subjects,
Domino is drawn to darkness as much as to beauty.
