With time running out to lift Gideon's curse, Willow and Gideon must face revelations of Gideon's tragic past...Willow and her fox spirit companion find themselves in the port city of Tamiris, beneath the watchful eye of a smoking volcano. But things aren't as they seem and a chance encounter with Master Chen, Gideon's foster father, leads to a revelation of Gideon's tragic past. When the spirit of the volcano erupts in anger, Gideon is forced to confront the truths of his foster-father's previous life, even as Willow discovers that sometimes love doesn't always conquer all.
