Full Description
This is a revised edition of "Yorkshire Dales Walks with Children" aimed at parents and young people. There are 21 circular routes - all less than 5 miles long and well-distributed across the Dales from Swaledale in the north to Bolton Abbey in the south, and from Dentdale in the west to Nidderdale in the east. In addition to the walks, there are places to visit - everything from candle workshops to a steam railway - points of interest to spot along the way and their own sections of the book to read while walking along. Directions are clear and easy to follow, and the facilities available on each walk are listed. You can see at a glance if a particular walk is suitable for pushchairs and where refreshments and toilets are located. There are also suggestions for alternative entertainment in the event of bad weather.
