Full Description
Rehm's thesis provides a detailed assessment of Near Eastern weapon-graves dating from the 3rd and early 2nd millennium BC. the aim is to determine the cultural and chronological context of the Mesopotamian and Syrian weapons and graves. Much of the study comprises a chronological gazetteer of sites and diagrams and tables that list the types of weapons that dominate certain periods or regions, including spears, axes, swords and shields. Sections also examine other types of gravegoods and the supporting evidence of Bronze Age artworks.
