Alma Robinson, a nationally recognized arts leader, first encountered the powerful effect of the arts on people who are incarcerated when she attended a performance of Twelfth Night presented by Marin Shakespeare Company at San Quentin State Prison (now San Quentin Rehabilitation Center).
