Originally published in 1913, this book presents the Latin text of the 1439 Award of William Alnwick, Bishop of Lincoln from 1436 to 1449. A facing-page English translation is also provided. The text was created at the request of the Dean and Chapter of Lincoln. Detailed notes are incorporated throughout.
