Full Description
Unholy Wedlock (1963) tells the story of the ill-fated creation of the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland in 1953. The author argues that it was done in the interests of the white minority, and against the wishes of the black majority, and examines the roles played by Whitehall and white politicians in Central Africa in creating and carrying out the policy.
