This book addresses global development issues in the local context. Written in honour of Prof. Gautam Gupta, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, this volume explains concepts and theories from development economics, behavioural economics and environmental economics to analyse issues related to intergenerational sustainable development in an interdisciplinary way.
