Praise and Applause - Meyrick Road Hall - as Sunday school and theatre - a history.Built in 1892 as a Sunday school, Meyrick Road Hall was converted to be Sheppey Little Theatre in the early 1970s.Jeremy Thornton, a volunteer at the theatre, has written this history of a building in the heart of the community which has served the community in many different ways. The building is architecturally interesting as well as being a fully functioning theatre with member groups using it most nights of the week.The fascinating and often funny stories of people involved with The Little Theatre are complemented by over forty pictures ncluding over 20 colour plates.
