Dietrich Bonhoeffer was one of the most important thinkers of the twentieth century. But who actually is this Bonhoeffer? Do we really know him? ln this magisterial collection, leading international scholars discuss and critically interact with the ways in which a variety of significant figures have engaged with Bonhoeffer's thought since his death. The aim of the volume is threefold: firstly, to demonstrate the profound and ongoing influence of Bonhoeffer on thinkers of many kinds; secondly, to help those interested in gaining a greater understanding of these other figures and movements; and thirdly, to offer invaluable insights into how Bonhoeffer might be interpreted.
