These four realistic, interactive clinical simulations are based on critical care nursing topics in "complex problems", wherein the patient has more than one pathophysiological problem needing medical and nursing management. The case simulations present core and advanced information associated with the care of critical care patients including assessment techniques, diagnostic tests, and nursing care related to pharmacological and medical treatment. The user interface incorporates a narration, colour photographs, and medical illustrations to visually enhance the content. Users may print scores to obtain continuing education credit.
