Full Description
A Game of Mirrors proposes that racial and ethnic phraseologies unmask portrayals of verbal aggression toward racial and ethnic groups. It analyzes these characterizations as determiners of ethnicity and ethno-racial relationships in Latin America and the "Hispanic" (Latino/a) United States, and examines social and political matrices in order to appraise levels of racial cognizance and explore the implications of language politics as manifested in the racial and ethnic vocabularies of Latin American societies.
