ABOUT THE AUTHORS
The original edition was written by Timothy V Rasinski and Nancy
Padak, both Proffesors at Kent State University with an extensive
background in education from classroom teaching and school administration
roles, to authoring books and articles on reading education
and literacy development.
This new edition has been updated for UK audiences by HfL Education,
a not-for-profit organisation providing school improvement
services, training and resources to help support schools, settings
