Five different case scenarios prepare nurses to apply emergency nursingprocess principles. Each scenario teaches users to react quickly and use problem-solving techniques, as well as maximize their assessment skills with regard to presenting symptoms and differential diagnoses. Users observe carefully, then formulate a primary and secondary assessment, upon which the interventions are based. With each clinical decision, the program allows the user to see how the hypothetical patient responds.
