Full Description
This program will explore several types of surgical drains, focusing on the Jackson Pratt, Hemovac, Penrose, and wound vacuum. For each, the rationale for its use, nursing assessments, dressing changes, care and management of the drain, and potential complications are discussed using scenarios and art.
