Stabilization of Uncertain Fractional-Order Neutral-Type Delay Systems focuses on stabilizing uncertain fractional-order (FO) neutral-type (FONT) systems, addressing challenges like control input saturation and actuator delay. Beginning with a comprehensive introduction, it progresses from constant fractional-order FONT (CFONT) systems to variable fractional-order FONT (VFONT) systems. It explores non-optimal and sub-optimal control techniques, such as guaranteed cost controllers (GCC), offering closed-loop stability and performance. Stabilization conditions are presented as linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), facilitating easy resolution with available toolboxes like Matlab's LMI toolbox, or free software such as SEDUMI and YALMIP. The book investigates both state- and output-feedback controller structures. While most literature focuses on state-feedback control, the book acknowledges the limitations of accessing all system states and explores output-feedback control as an alternative. Both static and dynamic feedback controller types are studied, with dynamic feedback controllers offering improved transient response at the expense of increased complexity.
