Full Description
Abandoned as a baby during the Depression, little black Shelton Lafleur was adopted by a wealthy Louisiana white family. Later crippled and incarcerated in an orphanage, he is rescued by a wily stranger - a man who holds the key to his tangled past and to his ultimate redemption.
