Cornerstones for First Generation Learners is designed to address the specific needs of first generation students and offer confidence and comfort to those who are unsure of what to expect. It provides advice on how to communicate and seek support from family, friends, community, and peers. First generation students are taught how to utilize on-campus organizations, counseling/academic centers, and service learning.
