Jump for Joy ist ein fröhlicher Song bei dem die zwei Alt-Saxophone ein lustiges Zwiegespräch führen, gefolgt von einem groovigen "walking bass" Bariton-Saxophon solo. Ein ideales Stück als Konzertzugabe für einen vergnügten Nachhauseweg. Entstanden ist dieses Stück durch eine Einspielfloskel von meinem Schüler Valentin F., dem ich herzlich danke! Dieses Stück ist meinen Kindern Ruben und Katharina gewidmet.Schwierigkeitsgrad: 3

Jump for Joy is a cheerful tune featuring an amusing dialogue between the two alto saxophones, which is then followed by a groovy walking bass solo performed by the baritone sax. This is the perfect piece for concluding a concert: It really puts the audience in high spirits and accompanies them back home even after the final note has been played. The composition is based on a warm-up lick devised by Valentin F., one of my students, whom I would like to extend my hearty thanks to. The song is dedicated to my son Ruben and my daughter Katherina.Instrumentation:5 saxophones (AAATBar)
