Das Original ist Teil der beeindruckenden Manuskript-Sammlung bedeutendster klassischer Musik in der Krakauer Jagiellonen-Bibliothek. Star-Pianistin Mitsuko Uchida förderte diese Publikation mit einer großzügigen Spende - ihr ganz persönlicher Beitrag zum großen Jubiläum. Julia Ronge, Kustodin der Sammlung des Beethoven-Hauses in Bonn, führt in einer kenntnisreichen Einleitung in die Entstehung und die Besonderheiten des Manuskriptes ein. Der G. Henle Verlag legt die zweibändige Ausgabe - das Autograph ist teils in Hoch-, teils in Querformat notiert - in einem prächtigen Schmuckschuber vor.

For the first time, G. Henle Publishers presents a facsimile edition of the autograph manuscript of the famous "Archduke Trio" op. 97 as a special offering for bibliophiles. The original in Cracow is part of Biblioteka Jagiellonska's impressive collection of manuscripts of the most significant classical music. Star pianist Mitsuko Uchida has supported this publication with a generous donation - her own personal contribution to the great anniversary year. Julia Ronge, curator of the collection at the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn, outlines the genesis and particularities of the manuscript in a knowledgeable introduction. G. Henle Publishers offers the two-volume edition - the autograph is notated partly in vertical, partly in horizontal format - in a sumptuous decorative box.

Henle présentent pour la première fois une édition fac-similé du manuscrit autographe du célèbre «Trio à l'Archiduc» («Erzherzog-Trio») op. 97. L'original est une partie de l'impressionante collection de manuscrits de musique classique de la Biblioteka Jagiellonska de Cracovie. C'est la star de piano Mitsuko Uchida qui a financé cette publication par un généreux don - sa contribution toute personnelle à ce grand jubilé. Julia Ronge, conservatrice de la collection du Beethoven-Haus à Bonn, est l'auteure d'une savante introduction concernant la genèse et les particularités du manuscrit. Les éditions G. Henle présentent cette superbe édition en deux volumes - le manuscrit est noté tantôt en hauteur, tantôt en format oblong - dans un écrin richement décoré.
