Alexander Skrjabin hatte sich 1891, im Jahr vor seiner Abschlussprüfung am Konservatorium, durch zu ehrgeiziges Üben eine Verletzung seiner rechten Hand zugezogen. Seine Pianistenkarriere war dadurch ernstlich bedroht, und der junge Musiker stürzte in eine Lebenskrise. Dennoch gelang es Skrjabin sein Klavierstudium 1892 mit einer Goldmedaille zu beenden. Seine erste veröffentlichte Klaviersonate op. 6 ist jedoch untrennbar mit der Krisenzeit verbunden. Das düstere Werk gipfelt am Ende des 3. Satzes in Akkordschlägen, an die sich ein abgründiger Trauermarsch als Finale anschließt - große, bekenntnishafte Musik. Wir legen dieses Schlüsselwerk als Urtextausgabe vor, herausgegeben und erläutert von der Skrjabin-Expertin Valentina Rubcova.

In 1891, the year before his final exam at the music conservatory, Alexander Scriabin injured his right hand due to his ambitious practising. This seriously jeopardized his career as a pianist and the young musician plunged into a crisis.
Yet Scriabin still managed to complete his piano studies in 1892, gaining a gold medal. His first published Piano Sonata op. 6 is, however, irrevocably linked to this time of crisis. The dark work reaches its climax at the end of the 3rd movement with hammering chords that are joined to the final movement, a sombre funeral march - great, confessional music. We are now publishing an Urtext edition of this key work, edited and presented by the Scriabin expert Valentina Rubcova.

Piano Sonata no. 1 f minor op. 6
En 1891, une année avant de terminer ses études au conservatoire, Scriabine s'était blessé à la main droite, alors qu'il s'exerçait avec acharnement. Il compromit ainsi très sérieusement sa carrière de pianiste et le jeune musicien qu'il était alors traversa une crise profonde. Il parvint cependant tout de même à terminer ses études de piano en 1892 par l'obtention d'une médaille d'or. Sa première sonate publiée, l'opus 6, reste liée à cette période de crise. Cette oeuvre sombre culmine à la fin du 3e mouvement par des accords martelés, auxquels s'enchaîne le Finale, une marche funèbre abyssale - de la grande musique, à titre de confession. Nous présentons cette oeuvre charnière en édition Urtext, publiée et commentée par Valentina Rubcova, la spécialiste de Scriabine.
