2009 is Mendelssohn's anniversary year and this has occasioned us to publish in addition to the already existing "Songs without Words" HN 327 nearly all of his piano compositions in two new extensive volumes. All of the works (see Contents) have been meticulously revised and extensive commentaries reflect the latest in scholarly research.
