Alle Werke (siehe Inhalt) sind akribisch erarbeitet und unter Berücksichtigung der aktuellen Forschungslage ausführlich kommentiert worden. Wir können so die weltweit einzige derart umfassende Urtextausgabe des Mendelssohnschen Klavier-Oeuvres anbieten. Unser bisheriger Auswahlband (HN 281) wird hiermit abgelöst.
Die meistgespielten Klavierstücke Mendelssohns (op. 14, 16, 54 und 72) liegen darüber hinaus auch in preisgünstigen Einzelausgaben vor._

2009 is Mendelssohn's anniversary year and this has occasioned us to publish in addition to the already existing "Songs without Words" HN 327 nearly all of his piano compositions in two new extensive volumes. All of the works (see Contents) have been meticulously revised and extensive commentaries reflect the latest in scholarly research. Thus we are able to offer a comprehensive Urtext edition of Mendelssohn's piano works that is unique in this form. It replaces our previous volume of selected piano works (HN 281).
In addition, Mendelssohn's piano works that are most often played (op. 14, 16, 54 and 72) are also available in affordable single editions._

2009, l'«année Mendelssohn», nous donne l'occasion de publier maintenant, en plus du volume déjà disponible «Romances sans paroles», HN 327, la quasi totalité des compositions pour piano de ce maître en deux épais volumes. Toutes les oeuvres (cf. contenu) ont fait l'objet d'un travail éditorial scrupuleux et sont accompagnées de commentaires détaillés prenant en compte l'état actuel des recherches. Nous présentons ainsi l'unique édition Urtext au monde, aussi exhaustive, des oeuvres pour piano de Mendelssohn. La nouvelle publication remplace ainsi le recueil disponible auparavant (HN 281).
En outre, les morceaux pour piano les plus joués de Mendelssohn (op. 14, 16, 54 et 72) existent également en édition séparée de prix modique._
