Zum Beethoven-Jahr 2020 legt der G. Henle Verlag den ersten von insgesamt drei Bänden mit sämtlichen Klaviersonaten Ludwig van Beethovens in einer neuen Urtextausgabe vor (Leinen HN 833, HN 835 und HN 837), herausgegeben von Maestro Murray Perahia und dem ausgewiesenen Beethoven-Experten des G. Henle Verlags, Norbert Gertsch. Der Band enthält die zwischen 1802 und 1806 erschienenen elf Sonaten Nr. 12 bis 22, op. 26 bis 54. Alle Sonaten sind nach dem aktuellen Forschungsstand ediert und mit ausführlichem Vorwort und Kritischem Bericht versehen, der die Quellenlage und Lesartenprobleme darstellt. Murray Perahia schenkt der Klavierwelt neben seinem höchst wertvollen Fingersatz auch tiefergehende Betrachtungen zur Gefühlswelt und zum strukturellen Aufbau einiger dieser Kompositionen.

In celebration of Beethoven Year 2020, G. Henle Publishers presents the first of three volumes with the complete piano sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven in a new Urtext edition (clothbound HN 833, HN 835, and HN 837), prepared by Maestro Murray Perahia and the renowned Beethoven expert at G. Henle Publishers, Norbert Gertsch. This volume contains the eleven sonatas published between 1802 and 1806, nos. 12 to 22, op. 26 to 54. All the sonatas have been edited to reflect the current state of research and include an extensive preface and a Critical Report that presents the source situation and problems of readings. Along with his invaluable fingerings, Murray Perahia bestows upon the piano world his in-depth reflections on the emotional world and structural makeup of these compositions.

À l'occasion de l'année Beethoven en 2020, les Éditions G. Henle présentent le premier de trois volumes consacrés à l'intégralité des sonates pour piano de Ludwig van Beethoven dans une nouvelle réalisation Urtext (reliure lin HN 833, HN 835 et HN 837), due au Maestro Murray Perahia et à l'expert qualifié auprès des Éditions G. Henle, Norbert Gertsch. Ce volume contient les onze sonates parues entre 1802 et 1806, nos 12 à 22, op. 26 à 54. Toutes ces sonates sont éditées conformément à l'état le plus actuel de la recherche, et pourvues d'une préface détaillée ainsi que d'un commentaire critique consacré à la question des sources et aux problèmes de variantes. Murray Perahia offre au monde du piano, outre ses doigtés extrêmement précieux, également ses profondes réflexions concernant le monde des sentiments comme les modes de construction structurelle de quelques-unes de ces compositions.
