Albéniz' Klaviermusik ist vor allem aufgrund der tänzerischen Elemente und ihres spanischen Kolorits wahrhaft unwiderstehlich. Asturias vereint diese Elemente auf das Raffinierteste. Erschienen erstmals 1892 als Prélude zu den Chants d'Espagne (HN 782), und erneut 1901, dann unter dem Titel Asturias in der Suite Espagnole (HN 783), wurde das Stück bald zu einem der beliebtesten Werke des Komponisten. Wer kennt nicht jene geheimnisvollen Gitarren-Klänge, die eine andalusische Flamenco-Szene heraufbeschwören? Wir bringen das häufig bearbeitete Stück im Urtext-Original für Klavier solo - nun auch als preisgünstige Einzelausgabe.

Albéniz' piano music is truly irresistible, in particular because of its dance-like elements and its Spanish atmosphere. Asturias combines these elements in a most sophisticated manner.
It first appeared in 1892 as the Prélude to the Chants d'Espagne (HN 782), and again in 1901, this time with the title Asturias in the Suite Espagnole (HN 783), and the piece soon became one of the composer's best-loved works. Who isn't familiar with the mysterious guitar sounds that conjure up a Flamenco scene in Andalusia? The piece has often been arranged, but we are publishing it in the original Urtext version for solo piano - in an affordable single edition.

Ce sont surtout les éléments provenant de la danse et son coloris espagnol qui rendent la musique de piano d'Albéniz proprement irrésistible. Asturias combine ces éléments avec le plus grand raffinement. Parue pour la première fois en 1892 dans la suite Chants d'Espagne sous le titre de Prélude (HN 782), et reparue en 1901, puis intégrée sous le titre Asturias à la Suite Espagnole (HN 783), cette pièce devint très rapidement l'une des oeuvres les plus appréciées du compositeur. Qui ne connaît pas ces mystérieuses sonorités de guitare évoquant une scène de flamenco en Andalousie? Nous publions cette pièce maintes fois arrangée dans sa version originale Urtext pour piano solo - désormais aussi en édition séparée et à un prix tout à fait avantageux.
