This book showcases the advanced research for cities to implement the food-energy-water (FEW) nexus principles. The volume is a continuity of Resilient and Adaptive Tokyo: Towards Sustainable Urbanization in Perspective of Food-energy-water Nexus (2024) and again taking Tokyo as the focal area, compiles with fundamental principles of nexus thinking and empirical applications of nexus approaches. It examines the nexus effects of urban FEW nexus through the supply chain in urban planning and management, magnifying the perspective of demand and consumption through quantitative analyses with a series of nexus methods.
