Turning his musings into chapters, Jin Young uses experiences from different parts of Asia to construct an account of what he calls 'The Dao of Flow'—a way of continuous transformation reflecting the philosophical implications of water. In a series of incisive vignettes and anecdotes, he draws inspiration from classical texts as he relates them to various topics across multiple disciplines: contemplative practices, spirituality, tea, agriculture, biodiversity, art, history, geography, politics, social economics, and stories of his mentors and role models in life.
