"Frankenstein" is an epistolary Gothic novel by the English writer Mary Shelley (1797-1851). The book is about Victor Frankenstein, who managed to comprehend the mystery of the origin of life and learn to revive lifeless matter. Later he renounces his creation, but the nameless monster begins to persecute its creator.
