The purpose of this book is to explore and present the historical, current, and future developments related to gender roles in agriculture. The book is divided into three sections: Gender in Agriculture Development (Part I), Gender in Allied Sectors of Agriculture (Part II), and Data, Tools, and Approaches in Gender Analysis (Part III). These sections aim to illustrate the existing gender-based disparities.
This book provides information about gender aspects in Indian agriculture, including policies, initiatives, and fills the gap in literature on gender roles in this sector.
