Full Description

Corporate governance is a system of administration, designed to meet certain objectives in corporate houses. It aims to provide better management and transparency in corporate sectors by setting exemplary standards of ethical behaviour. The fourth edition of the book focuses on corporate governance practices, elaborating critically corporate governance prevailing in the Indian corporate sectors vis-à-vis the corporate governance in other industrialised countries. It shows the ways and means to serve the needs of the stakeholders in the best possible way. In order to ensure the relevance of this thoroughly revised edition with the new Companies Act, 2013 and Rules, 2014, and also, with the SEBI (Listing Obligation and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, five new chapters have been added to the text. Besides, the new edition comprises numerous new sections as well as updated information throughout the book. UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION (USP) The book presents an amalgamation of all suggestions and recommendations of national and international committees under a common platform for adequate evaluation and setting up a standard code of conduct applicable to the Indian corporate houses.
