Full Description
CAP 768 "Guidance Material for Operators" is issued for the benefit of Air Operators' Certificate (AOC) holders and applicants to provide information considered to be of long-term interest and essential or useful guidance material. The CAP consists of extracts from the now obsolete CAP 360 "Air Operators Certificates" along with information from current CAA Notices to AOC Holders ((NTAOCHs), Letters to Operators (LTOs) and Flight Operations Division Communications (FODCOMs). CAP 360 and the relevant NTAOCHs, LTOs and FODCOMs have now been withdrawn. The aim of this document is not to duplicate information found in the above documents.It has been designed to provide information for both AOC holders and AOC applicants on the administrative procedures involved in holding an AOC. It also provides amplification of items that the operator may wish to include in the operations manual. Some material may be used verbatim; other material may need to be adapted to apply to the specific operation. Finally, it offers useful information that may be of interest and relevance to the operator. Applicants and operators should refer to CAP 768 periodically to ensure that they are aware of the latest additional guidance.
