This set of two books combines the book Devotional Portraiture and Spiritual Experience in Early Netherlandish Painting with the first exhaustive catalogue of paintings with devotional portraits produced in the Low Countries between c. 1400 and 1550. The book is 336 pages, including 111 full-color illustrations; the catalogue is 952 pages, including 535 full-color illustrations.
