Leyla-Leona Barth sagt von sich selbst, dass sie eine überzeugte Romantikerin ist. Sie wurde 1970 in der Steiermark geboren und ist dort aufgewachsen. Sie wollte schon seit sie Kind war nur eines: Geschichten erzählen. Das Geschichtenerzählen wurde ihr in die Wiege gelegt, denn ihre Großmutter war eine passionierte Verfasserin von Gedichten, Artikeln und Schriften. Nach ihrem Studium arbeitete sie im Marketing und ist seit der Veröffentlichung ihres ersten Romans als Autorin aktiv. Ihr Genre sind Feelgood und historische Romane für Frauen, die an die große Liebe glauben. Barth reist gerne und so spielen auch ihre Romane an Orten, die sie selbst besucht hat. Sie selbst sagt über ihre Bücher: "Ich möchte meinen Lesern ein paar schöne Stunden bescheren, in denen sie mit den Helden meiner Romane mitfiebern können - und ich möchte sie in die schönsten Ecken dieser Welt entführen." Barth lebt mit ihrem Mann und Hund in Wien.
