This work is directed to readers that are interested in mathematics. It deals with the Pythagorean theorem in a very illustrative way. The author is also the programmer of the program SpartasCalc. His matter of concern is it here to show mathematics in a very illustrative way and to give the reader a fascinating insight and new knowledge in a very cost effective way by joining in. It is possible to use a free spreadsheet program and the free add-in program SpartasCalc, too. A new fascinating world opens itself in which many things may still be discovered due to the use of a calcualtion accuracy of at least 20 digits. Thus, new functions have interesting characteristics, as for instance self similarity. The reader is invited to advance by themselves in undiscovered parts of the solution space due to the unexpected expanse of the new world.
