Description
The textbook helps to acquire language skills in Modern Standard Arabic. It is therefore designed for the basic course in academic teaching but can as well be used in language courses of other institutions. Whereas it imparts language skills/abilities for the oral and written Arabic communication the learner is introduced into regional, cultural/educational studies of Arabic countries.

Additionally the learner is introduced into regional, cultural/educational studies of Arabic countries, illustrated by various pictures.
The present textbook is mainly designed for the basic course in academic teaching but can be as well used in language courses of other institutions. Basic knowledge of Grammar terminology in the learner's mother tongue is desired. The CD (may be sold separately, at a price of 59,90 EUR) with audio files for texts 1 and 2 as well as with exercises for vocabulary and listening comprehension complement this textbook thus serving as an important part for extra-curricular and independent learning.
A textbook's key contains the translation of the texts, the solutions to the exercises and the texts for listening comprehension.
