Elke Clörs stammt aus Darmstadt und war einige Jahre in der Redaktion einer medizinischen Tageszeitung tätig. Später eröffnete sie ein Geschäft für Interieurdesign und arbeitete als Einrichtungsberaterin für ein großes Möbelhaus. Inzwischen lebt sie die meiste Zeit auf Ibiza, wo auch ihr erstes Buch "Happy Hippie Cooking Ibiza" entstanden ist. In ihrem kleinen Familienunternehmen produziert sie handgemachte Pullover aus recycelter Baumwolle für ihr Modelabel "Stars of Ibiza". Nach wie vor ist sie aber gerne bei der Verwirklichung privater Wohnträume behilflich.
