"Umbruch Ost. Lebenswelten im Wandel" ist der Begleitband zur gleichnamigen Ausstellung der Bundesstiftung zur Aufarbeitung der SED-Diktatur und des Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für die neuen Bundesländer. Das Buch präsentiert Texte des Berliner Historikers und Publizisten Stefan Wolle sowie 128 zeitgenössische Fotos renommierter Fotografinnen und Fotografen. Ergänzt durch Infografiken des Online-Portals Statista zur ökonomischen und gesellschaftlichen Entwicklung seit 1990 sowie Zeitzeugenvideos des NDR, die durch QR-Codes verfügbar gemacht werden, wirft der Band Schlaglichter auf den Alltag der deutschen Einheit insbesondere in Ostdeutschland."Transformation EAST.
