Die Essays des Katalogs bieten konzeptionelle Ansätze, die auf innovative Weise der Präsenz und Materialität von Religion begegnen. Sie werden durch Fotos ergänzt, deren künstlerischer Zugang noch einmal andere, vielleicht ungewohnte Perspektiven auf Menschen und Orte, Städte und Gebäude ermöglicht.The Urban Sacred investigates the presence of religion in Amsterdam, Berlin and London. It shows that these cities, commonly counted among the most secularized places of the world, continue to be permeated by religion - albeit in sometimes unexpected ways.
