Christian Sindings sechs Klavierstücke op. 32 sind durch das an dritter Stelle stehende Charakterstück Frühlingsrauschen weltberühmt geworden. Sindings Musik verbindet spätromantischen Klangzauber mit geheimnisumwobenen nordischen Tonfällen, wie sie etwa auch für Edvard Grieg oder Niels W. Gade typisch sind. Die zum Teil virtuose Pianistik erreicht aber nicht die weit gespannte Komplexität Franz Liszts, so dass sich einige Stücke durchaus auch dem fortgeschrittenen Schüler erschließen. Das hier erstmal im Urtext vorliegende gesamte Opus stützt sich auf einen kritischen Vergleich von Erstausgabe und Autograph des Komponisten. Die sechs Stücke sind von verschiedenem Charakter und unterschiedlicher Schwierigkeit. Für Unterricht wie Konzert bieten sie eine willkommene Abwechslung im Klavierrepertoire aus den letzten Jahren des 19. Jahrhundert.Schwierigkeitsgrad: 3-4

Christian Sinding's six Piano Pieces Op. 32 have become world famous due to third piece Rustle of Spring. Sinding's music combines late-Romantic tonal charm with mysterious Nordic cadences, also typical of Edvard Grieg or Niels W. Gade. The sometimes virtuosic character does not rival the complexity of Franz Liszt, meaning some pieces remain within the grasp of the advanced pupil. The whole opus, available in the original version for the first time, is based on a critical comparison of the first edition with the composer's autograph. The six pieces are each of a different character and level of difficulty.
