Description
The terror against people in Israel on 7 October 2023 sent a targeted genocidal message to Jewish communities around the world. Immediately after the massacre and hostage-taking in southern Israel and the rocket fire, the anti-Semitic threat situation increased massively worldwide. The authors examine the burden on Jewish and Israeli individuals and communities in Germany after 7 October in the following two years. How have Jewish and Israeli people and communities in Germany experienced the phase since October 2023? What psychological and physical effects does the continuing threat have and how does this experience of terror connect with previous experiences of war and terror?
